The Shepard is named for Edward Morse Shepard, a lawyer and politician who originally built and lived in the Inn. This warm king suite’s window seat provides guests with a partial view, split between the Inn’s Courtyard Terrace and Lake George. Located right at the foot of the bed, these views truly make you feel right at home. The bathroom is quite surprising, with an oval, 2-person jacuzzi tub at the end of its hallway.
The Shepard Suite is a Partial View King Suite, located on the 3rd floor of the Inn at Erlowest. Guests may access this suite by taking the stairs or elevator, but must navigate a narrow, windy hallway to enter through the suite’s only entrance.
Entryway spacing may be limited, as the Shepard Suite’s door is right beside the door to the Leffingwell Suite.
The king bed is located right across from the entryway, with a mounted flat-screen cable television and DVD player immediately to the right. Offset from the king bed to the right is a loveseat, a small closet (with an iron, ironing board, and safe), a smoke detector (with visual and audio aids), a CO2 detector (with audio aid), and an in-room telephone. Window alcove seating is located at the foot of the bed, with the mini-fridge and handled ice bucket located to its left.
Past the mini-fridge is en suite of average size (but runs slightly narrow width-wise), featuring a sink-vanity combination, a towel rack, an armchair, a single-stall, walk-in shower (portable shower seat available upon request), a garbage can, a toilet (portable grab bars available upon request), and a 1-person oval-shaped jacuzzi tub (small portable steps available upon request).
The quaint size of the suite and ensuite may make for narrow room navigation.
Also provided for guests of the Shepard Suite are complimentary splits of Prosecco upon check-in, one reserved parking space, & wifi connectivity.
