The Leffingwell is named for Russell Cornell Leffingwell, a corporate lawyer who became Assistant Secretary of Treasury and Board Chairman of J. P. Morgan and Company. This suite reflects Leffingwell’s drive and balance, with a 2-person jacuzzi tub on one side, a two-way shower in the middle, and a bathroom on the other side. The main room of Leffingwell includes a sitting area set off from the king bed, complete with a small, electric fireplace in the corner.
The Leffingwell Suite is a Deluxe King Suite, located on the 3rd floor of the Inn at Erlowest. Guests may access this room by taking the stairs or elevator, but must navigate a narrow, windy hallway to enter through the suite’s door.
Entryway spacing may be limited, as the Leffingwell’s door is right beside the door to the Shepard Suite.
Guests enter the suite into the main bedroom area, with a king bed, a chest of drawers, two end tables, a smoke detector (with visual and audio aids), a CO2 detector (with audio aid), and a mini-fridge with a handled ice bucket. To the right of the bed is a small sitting area with an electric fireplace, a loveseat, a coffee table, a dresser, a flat-screen cable television and DVD player, and a couple of arm chairs. There is no phone located in the Leffingwell Suite.
An ensuite is of average size (but slightly narrow in width), and is located offset from the king bed to the left, and features a garbage can, toilet (portable grab bars available upon request), a sink-vanity combination, and a walk-through shower with two showerheads (portable shower seat available upon request). Guests may walk through either the shower or through the sitting area to access the 2-person jacuzzi tub (small portable steps available upon request).
Spacing of the ensuite may make for narrow room navigation.
Also provided for guests of the Leffingwell Suite are complimentary splits of Prosecco upon check-in, one reserved parking space & wifi connectivity.
