The Erlowest offers fine dining that has entertained many influential people during its history, including George Foster Peabody, Spencer & Katrina Trask, and Mr. Charles “Charlie” Wood.

Through our fine dining restaurant, Shepards at Erlowest, we pay homage to our Founder, Mr. Edward Morse Shepard, offering patrons inspired cuisine inside our intimate dining rooms and outside on our Fireplace Patio and Courtyard Terrace.

Shepard’s Bar at Erlowest gives visitors a charming spot to unwind.

Relax in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine from our extensive wine cellar, enjoy a cold beer, or relish one of our cocktails named for our home’s history and the Lake George region.

Guests can enjoy the Erlowest’s locally sourced ingredients with views of the lake and surrounding Adirondack Mountains all year long with our heated Erlowest E-Gloos, available during the winter season.
